This is a weeklong highly interactive training will is designed to meet the needs and concerns of the HCMUTE faculty. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with Moodle from the student perspective. This will allow the faculty to both practice using Moodle as an instructor and student during the training.

Throughout the training, the ASU trainer will not only model how to use the Moodle features to enhance English language acquisition, but explain the academic value and multiple adaptations and uses for student engagement in the course. Faculty will have the opportunity to build a part of their own class shell each day (I.e. assessment, discussion board, video link, academic content). The last day of the course will be a dedicated day to completing the course shell with the assistance of the ASU trainer who will be available to provide guidance on building an interactive and pedagogically sound course on Moodle.
